SUMMARY:Carer Support Group - Riverton
DESCRIPTION:Carer support groups bring together and support carers of people living with dementia in the community. The groups provide carers with an opportunity to discuss the impact of dementia on their lives and the lives of their loved ones\, and to give and receive information and support. Each facilitated peer support group meets once a month for two hours. \n  \nA separate carer support group for carers of people living with younger onset dementia (those diagnosed and under the age of 65) is also available. \n  \nRiverton Carer Support Group meets every 1st Thursday of the month 10:00am – 12:00pm.
