Alzheimer’s WA provides a range of respite and social support designed to give carers a break and provide dementia specialist care that offers meaningful engagement, therapeutic activities and social connections.
Individual services are available in your home or in the community to support you in continuing to live independently and engaging in the activities of your choice.
These services are flexible to meet your individual needs and can be adjusted to suit you as your needs and wishes change too.
As well as accessing our overnight short stay respite, we can also provide in home overnight respite if your carer needs a break but you would prefer to stay in a familiar environment.
Locations
We provide a selection of support services and respite throughout the Perth metropolitan and Wheatbelt, Great Southern and Goldfields regions.
Regionally we can assist families in accessing other community based respite services. We are located in Albany, Kalgoorlie and York.
Eligibility
Individual services are provided through the Commonwealth Home Support Program and Home Care Packages or can be self-funded on a private basis.
