Big shout out to all of the wonderful carers from Hawthorne House. THANK YOU all so much for helping Mum, being so caring. Special appreciation to Angela for your care, empathy, listening and following through on requests.

We are devastated but also relieved that Mum is at peace and was surrounded by her loved ones through this process. Thank you again and thank you to all of the Hawthorn House team. You all truly do a fabulous job and you gave us so much support this last 12 months. We could not have coped without you all. Ultimately Mum did get her wish put forward when she received her Dementia Diagnosis. She wanted to stay in her own home until the end. She was able to do that with the massive effort that our gorgeous Dad, who put in 24 hours a day to facilitate that. He did it with grace, dignity, endless patience and good humour. Mum was also able to stay at home because of the support they both received from Hawthorn House this last 12 months. We will all be forever grateful to our Dad and to you guys.
