The dementia journey can be one that is lonely, stressful and tiring. Alzheimer’s WA provides a range of social support and engagement opportunities for people living with dementia, which often help to reduce social isolation and create new friendships. We also strive to provide services to those who care for people living with dementia, to allow them to take a break.
Accessing services that meet both the needs of the person with dementia and their carer is very important. Families often tell us how beneficial our services can be in assisting them throughout the dementia journey.
